Despite what many people in the business world are teaching, there is a very simple way to move your business and your life forward.
It’s not writing to-do lists, creating a strategic plan or, some other complex thing.
I know that’s hard to believe in today’s hard world.
Also, the way forward is this and it’s simple, really.
How do you move forward? Here is how you move forward with one word: action.
That’s right, it’s taking action right now that gets you going toward your goals.
It’s literally taking one step in the right direction…followed by another and then another.
Just like we learned how to walk years ago!
And sometimes this requires experimenting with totally new actions if previous ones weren’t working. So, this means you might feel very uncomfortable.
When we overcomplicate things, we get ourselves stuck. We find ourselves frozen, unable to take action.
We overwhelm ourselves with the big picture and suddenly it all just feels out of reach.
If you’re feeling this right now, stop and ask yourself – what is the easiest step forward I can take?
Are you overwhelmed about starting an exercise program? Is it too daunting to start?
For example, what if I told you that all you have to do is go for a ten minute walk and that counts as the start of your program.
Now, does action makes more sense and seem more doable?
Because we must always remember that action creates results, which create motivation – not the other way around.
