The benefits of drinking water are amazing. Because our bodies are made up of 55-65%, water is the only drink that we must have to survive.
I’m sure you already know the three things I mentioned. However, you may not know some of the other benefits. In today’s blog, it is my goal to share with you five other benefits of drinking water because they are important.

Have you had a headache recently? If so, it could have been a sign of dehydration. A headache could be a sign of not drinking enough water.
There are studies that show drinking water won’t completely stop a headache. However, it can reduce the pain associated with it.

I recommend all my weight loss clients drink plenty of water because drinking water helps to do three things:
It makes you feel full so you are less likely to overeat.
Drinking water helps your body get rid of toxins. Those toxins could be responsible for your body holding on to body fat.
It helps increase your metabolism.

Water is a part of the digestion and execration process. When there is not enough water in our bodies, we may feel constipated.
Well, drinking water can help relieve and get rid of constipation. My rule of thumb for how much water you should be drinking is this: take your body weight, divide it in half and drink that amount in ounces.

Water moves nutrients and oxygen that are important for cell growth and repair.
Drinking water also helps to move important messages from hormones to other places in our body.

Water, believe it or not, acts as a shock for our body.
Yes, that means when you are doing those crazy exercises, water helps prevent your hip & knee joint from smashing in to each other!
Also, our back bones are filled with water. So, one of the best ways to keep a health back is to drink plenty of water!
Water is the most important nutrient ever, so, you can not go without water.
Hopefully, these five benefits of drinking water encourages you to grab a glass right now and drink up!
